mini scrunchi project
Sunday, November 8, 2009

Supplies needed:
2 strips of fabric 11.5" x 1.5"
2 strips of 5.5" x 1/4" baby elastic
safety pin
sewing machine
scissors or rotary cutter
above fabric from the Heather Ross collection

Fold over one end of each fabric strip about 1/4" and stitch.

Fold fabric strips length wise with right sides together. Stitch as close to the edge as possible. Next, use a safety pin to help turn the fabric tube to the right side. Be patient - this can be a frustrating step!

Now, use the safety pin to thread your elastic through the tube. Remember to hold the elastic so that it won't disappear into the tube. Zig-Zag stitch elastic together (or tie a knot). Finally, tuck the raw end of the fabric into the finished end and straigh stitch closed.

I'm more than happy to share this project with you and hope that you enjoy the process of creating! If you liked this project leave me a comment! Thanks so much~ Susannah

I LOVE this project. I spend a fortune on these things and they always get lost straight away. I am fully intending to make lots of these now - thank you very much for the instructions and the idea.
THESE ARE CUTE! aT h&m YOU HAVE TO PAY A LOT FOR THESE CUTIES, BUT EASY TO MAKE AND FIT WITH YOUR OWN FABRIC CLOTHING...
