jersey knit scarf project
Tuesday, October 26, 2010
This is a VERY simple, lightweight scarf that you can make in about 10 minutes - NO SEWING! Sometimes it's nice to have a quick project. That being said...the added fabric rosettes take more time and require a needle and thread. I won't be showing you how to make the rosettes but there are many wonderful tutorials such as this or this! Anyway...onto the scarf!
Supplies Needed
- one quarter yard jersey knit material
- scissors (or rotary cutter & mat)
- ruler (if you are a precision freak like me)

Step 1: gather materials
Step 2: Lay fabric out and cut 'fringe' 4" up from each short end of fabric rectangle
Step 3: tie knots at top and bottom of fringe pieces
You are finished! Now embellish with your choice of rosettes, embroidery or simply wear by itself! Scarf measures around 42" depending on the width on the fabric bolt.
Please, do not copy my words and/or images from this project in ANY way, shape or form. They are my own words and work - I hope that you enjoy the process of creating! If you liked this project leave me a comment! Thanks so much~ Susannah
