covered button post earrings

 Supplies

  • post earrings (in jewelry/beading section of craft store)
  • super glue
  • small jewelry pliers
  • covered button kit ( I used size 5/8")
  • fabric scraps - enough to 'fit' with your covered button circle measurement (your button making kit will tell you how much you need)

Remove metal piece on the back of the button using pliers.

Follow your button making instructions to cover the button.

Use super glue to attach post backs to earrings.  Notice how the post is up against the side of the earring back (see below) - This will allow the earrings to 'hang' more attractively from your ear.

Allow to dry and you are finished!

Simply lovely!
