filling in time

I feel like I never sit down and just RELAX (but not in a bad way).  My hands are constantly working.  Whether it's starting IV's, folding laundry or waking up EXTRA EARLY to iron and cut fabric I am always on the move.  When my hands are busy my mind and spirit feel satisfied.  Do you do the same thing?

Above is the beginnings of a Drunkards Path Quilt.  I've gotten so much done today and I'm pretty sure it will be finished by the end of this week!  I can't believe how much I've accomplished not only this month but also this year.  One of my New Years Resolutions was to finish projects that I start and I feel that I'm well on my way!  Hurray!

I love your work! and I feel the same way about being busy...my daughter said she noticed I never, ever just watch TV, that I am always doing something else along with it...knitting, sewing, doodling, it's great crafting time. And that was my NY resolution as well. Last year I got a bit ahead of myself in starting projects and not finishing them. And it started to wear on me a bit. So, getting tthem finished is a great feeling! Lovely quilt.
