wednesday thoughts

My head is absolutely swirling and has been for the past week. Change is everywhere right now. June is gone and Christmas is closer to 'this side' of the year now. I just found out that my husbands brother & his family and my husbands parents are both moving in the next 2 weeks just as we are. I'm sure there will be many late night unloading sessions and many mornings of chaos.
I start my 'new job' in the morning and I'm nervous. I don't know why, however, you would think with a year of nursing school clinicals under my belt that a job answering phones and filing medical charts would seems like a breeze. I'm sure it's just my perfectionist nature and the 'unknown' that makes my stomach jump a little!
I just got a text that my best friend had her baby (number 4)! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it.
As far as art goes, I have 2 dresses that I've made to share with you but I don't seem to have the time to photograph them. One is for B and the other for J. Both are sweet! I'm also working away at this doll I started (see previous post). Her hair has been an adventure. Time consuming but worth it~ Her red 'underwear' will be sewn on. I love the bit of lace detail at the edges!
Simply lovely.

the hair is awesome! how did you do it?!
Hey! Best wishes for the new job, move & new everything! I think the fact that you are 'nervous' means you are taking it seriously. Good for you -- it will be great, and hopefully fun, too. I'll wish for you that your colleagues are art-nest-kinds-of-people ;-).....that would be nice.
I like this doll without a face....I think she 'fits' to your post right now. But, of course, I'll be eager to see how she fills in, too. Very nice on the hair and TRIM of the red chemise.....
oh my lots on the horizon!!! i'm sure it will all fall into place, but i would have jittery stomach too.
so glad i stopped by and found out S had little O!!! have been chatting with her a bit and hadn't heard anything in a couple days but praying for her and his safe arrival. yay, he's here!
