hand painted shoes
Bella's new shoes! I hand painted them with a bunny, a moon and stars that were inspired by my pencil sketches. Part of me doesn't want to let her run around in them and another part wants to set her down and let her go! This was a fun and quick project. I was walking through Hancock fabrics this morning and walked by a table of canvas shoes which were on sale...so, how could I resist?

I used craft paint (the little bottles). They shoes held up nicely today as she wore them to school, to! Don't worry, I actually ironed the dress she wore today :)

Your daughter is so lucky to have a pair of shoes that are both beautiful and unique! Even if she scuffs them up, these are definitely a keepsake. You used wonderful colors too! Now I'll have to check out your pencil sketches ...
